what is el popo?
Our name, El Popo, is inspired by Popocatépetl, the legendary volcano at the heart of one of Mexico’s most beautiful love stories. According to Mexican mythology, Popocatépetl was a brave warrior who fell in love with a princess named Iztaccíhuatl. Their story of eternal love and loyalty moves us deeply and just like the volcano, we aim to bring warmth, passion, and unforgettable memories to everything we serve.
